Solutions for People who are Deaf-Blind
Learn more below about services for people who are deaf-blind.
Text Telephone (TTY)
A TTY is a device used by people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, or have a speech disability, and you can use it to communicate if you have difficulty hearing or speaking on the phone.
Relay Conference Calling (RCC)
Participants can read real-time captions during calls, video meetings, or webinars from almost any internet-connected device, helping to communicate clearly with coworkers, providers, family, and friends.Emergency Services
7-1-1 is not a substitute for 9-1-1 in emergencies. TTY users should call 9-1-1 or their local TTY-equipped emergency center directly. IP Relay
All callers must be registered to make a call through Internet-based relay including video relay and IP relay. Non-registered callers cannot make or receive internet-based relay calls.TeleBraille
TeleBraille allows people who are deaf and blind to communicate over the phone. It connects a braille keyboard and display to a TTY converting typed messages into braille and braille input into text, enabling real-time, two-way communication.
