Hearing Carry-Over
Hearing Carry-Over (HCO) allows those that can hear but have a speech disability to listen to the person called. The HCO user types conversation for the relay operator to read to the standard telephone user.

HCO users listen while the relay operator is reading/voicing the TTY user's typed message. The HCO user types conversation directly to the TTY user.

HCO users contact other HCO users through Relay Texas. The relay operator voices to both parties what is typed on each user's TTY.
